Cleveland led 3A Metro - Sound in scoring this week after putting up 34 points on Ingraham. Amont? Phillips threw for 148 yards and 2 touchdowns and ran for 20 yards during the win.
Chief Sealth made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 10,950 from 12,139. The improvement came about via a 30-20 victory over Rainier Beach last week.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when West Seattle takes on the Eagles. As it stands, the Wildcats are in third, while Cleveland is in first.
Hale suffered the largest drop in the standings this week, falling from third to fifth in the league. The drop came on the heels of a loss to Roosevelt during the week, 35-16.
