Volleyball Recap: Foothill Has No Trouble Against Red Bluff + How To Watch

Foothill won the last time they faced Red Bluff and things went their way on Thursday too. The Cougars were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Spartans. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Foothill was: they took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-15, 25-13.

Foothill can attribute much of their success to Bryah Lockwood, who had 14 digs and one assist. That's the most digs Lockwood has posted since back in September.

Foothill was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in 14 consecutive matchups.

Foothill's victory bumped their record up to 15-11. As for Red Bluff, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 13 of their last 16 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-23 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Foothill and Shasta will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Red Bluff does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
