Basketball Recap: Colbert Beats Calera for Their Third Straight Victory

Colbert waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They strolled past the Calera Bulldogs with points to spare, taking the game 52-33. This was a revenge game for the Leopards: when they faced off against the Bulldogs last Friday, they had to take a 55-39 defeat.

Colbert's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-5. As for Calera, their loss dropped their record down to 10-9.

Colbert will be playing at home against Coalgate at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Colbert is facing Coalgate at the right time seeing as Coalgate is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Calera, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 67-57 defeat against Madill on the 31st.
