Soccer Recap: Richland Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Richland had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Centennial Spartans a 3-0 shutout. Connor Parker had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Richland.

The victory (which was Richland's third in a row) raised their record to 9-8-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matchups. As for Centennial, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 12-8-3 record.

Richland wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Americas on the 27th. Centennial does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
