Soccer Game Preview: Honaker vs. George Wythe

While Honaker's victory against Holston wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers never let the Cavaliers get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for Honaker in their matchups with Holston: they've now won six in a row.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last contest, George Wythe made sure to put some goals up on the board against Grayson County on Monday. They blew past the Blue Devils 9-3. Considering George Wythe's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Honaker pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those three games. As for George Wythe, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
