Volleyball Recap: Rockmart Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Gracie Wilson and Lilly Griffin

Rockmart was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

Despite the defeat, Rockmart had strong showings from Lilly Griffin, who had nine digs and three aces, and Gracie Wilson, who had six digs.

Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe can attribute much of their success to Montana Noblitt, who had 12 digs and two aces. That's the most digs Noblitt has posted since back in October of 2024.

Rockmart's loss dropped their record down to 11-32. As for Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe, their win bumped their record up to 12-27.

Rockmart wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Murray County on the 9th. As for Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against North Cobb Christian on the 7th.
