Colton Ryals was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

Brewer has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-9 record this season. As for Azle, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-11.

While Brewer had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
