Emporia piles up the points against Manhattan HomeSchool CHIEF

Recap: Emporia Spartans vs. Manhattan HomeSchool CHIEF
The Emporia Spartans posted their biggest victory yet this season on Saturday. They blew past Manhattan HomeSchool CHIEF 58-29 on the road. With Emporia ahead 35-14 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Leading Emporia to victory were Sheldon Stewart and Cooper Rech. Stewart scored ten points along with six assists and two steals, while Rech scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. That's the first time this season that Rech grabbed two or more steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Calvin Seeley, who scored five points along with two steals.
Emporia's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Manhattan HomeSchool CHIEF, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.
Emporia will head out on the road to take on Junction City/St. Xavier at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Manhattan HomeSchool CHIEF, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Veritas Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
