Softball Recap: Ravenscroft Takes a Loss

Ravenscroft lost against American Leadership Academy-Johnston back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Ravens lost 15-5 to the Patriots. The Ravens have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Macie Mackinnon and Cole MacKinnon stepped up to the plate in a big way. Mackinnon went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run, while MacKinnon went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Mackinnon has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last six times she's played.

Ravenscroft's record is now 4-10. As for American Leadership Academy-Johnston, they moved to 7-10 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Coming up, Ravenscroft is taking a road trip to square off against North Raleigh Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for American Leadership Academy-Johnston, they will welcome Wallace-Rose Hill at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
