Basketball Recap: Brush Drops Highest Score of Season Against John Marshall

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Brush). They blew past the John Marshall Lawyers 90-66 on Saturday. The Arcs haven't had any issues with the Lawyers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Despite the loss, John Marshall still got an impressive performance from Reece Green, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten boards. That's the most points Green has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Dhal Dhal, who put up 12 points.

Brush's victory bumped their record up to 13-7. As for John Marshall, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brush will challenge Padua Franciscan at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Brush has won four straight at home, while Padua Franciscan won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change. As for John Marshall, they will face off against Bedford at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Bedford is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57 points per game this season.
