Cherokee County had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Monday. They put the hurt on the Cedar Bluff Tigers with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Cherokee County took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-15, 25-10.

Ava Haygood paced Cherokee County's offense, picking up 12 kills. Haygood got some help from Macy Lea and her 25 assists. Taniya Fife and Jesslyn Hincy kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Cherokee County's win bumped their record up to 31-6-1. As for Cedar Bluff, with the loss, they broke their six-match winning streak and moved their record to 7-9.

Looking ahead, Cherokee County will host Bremen at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cedar Bluff, they will challenge Dade County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
