Baseball Recap: Front Royal HomeSchool Takes a Loss

If Front Royal HomeSchool was feeling good fresh off their 11-2 takedown of Chen last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Flames came up short against the Blue Ridge Jays on Friday, falling 13-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Flames haven't been shut out since back in March.

Front Royal HomeSchool's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Blue Ridge, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season.

Front Royal HomeSchool wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 16-9 loss against Randolph-Macon Academy on the 12th. As for Blue Ridge, they will square off against Fairfax HomeSchool at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
