Basketball Recap: Burlington Comes Up Short

Burlington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 61-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lyman Eagles.

Burlington's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Lyman, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Burlington will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Meeteetse at 6:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025. As for Lyman, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Rocky Mountain at 1:30 p.m. on Friday.
