Softball Recap: Frontier Takes a Loss

Frontier lost to Garces Memorial on Wednesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Titans fell just short of the Rams by a score of 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Titans have suffered since March 22, 2025.

Bailey Freeborn was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. BellaRose Sanchez also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

This is the second loss in a row for Frontier and nudges their season record down to 19-5. As for Garces Memorial, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season.

Frontier wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 8-4 victory against Highland on the 29th. As for Garces Memorial, they have also already played their next game, a 4-0 win against Liberty on the 29th.
