McKinney Christian Academy entered their tilt with Shelton on Thursday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They blew past the Chargers 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

McKinney Christian Academy walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-13, 25-20.

McKinney Christian Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Tristyn Vineyard out in front who had nine digs and four assists. Another player making a difference was Sophia Gustovich, who had eight digs and two aces.

McKinney Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Shelton, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McKinney Christian Academy will host All Saints Episcopal at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Shelton, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against All S at 6:30 p.m.
