Pine Tree won the last time they faced Kilgore and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Pirates walked away with a 3-1 win over the Bulldogs. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pirates.

The victory didn't come easy: Kilgore scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-19, 21-25, 25-21, 25-20.

Pine Tree's win bumped their record up to 18-10. As for Kilgore, they dropped their record down to 18-12 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Pine Tree is set to challenge their familiar foe Gilmer at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Kilgore will square off against rival Henderson at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
