Football Game Preview: Hatch Bobcats vs. Choctaw County Tigers + Official Tickets

The Hatch Bobcats will head out to face off against the Choctaw County Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Choctaw County took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Hatch, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, Hatch was able to grind out a solid victory over Pickens Academy, taking the game 22-12. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bobcats.

Meanwhile, Choctaw County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 27-18 to Holy Spirit Catholic.

Despite the defeat, Choctaw County saw an underclassman step up: freshman Jaydon Thomas rushed for 71 yards on only six carries.

Choctaw County's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Hatch, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Things could have been worse for Hatch, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 31-12 loss to Choctaw County in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Tigers' Devin Ruffin, who rushed for 215 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 12.6 yards per carry.
