Football Recap: Central Private Comes Up Short

Central Private was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 40-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of Ascension Christian. The Redhawks were not able to make up for their defeat to Ascension Christian from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Central Private's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Ascension Christian, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central Private is headed away from home for the first time to face off against Gueydan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ascension Christian, they will take on Covenant Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
