Soccer Game Preview: Westview vs. Southridge

The Westview Wildcats will face off against the Southridge Skyhawks at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Westview is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Oregon's top teams: Beaverton, who was ranked eighth at the time (Westview was ranked 23rd). The Wildcats fell 2-0 to the Beavers on Monday. The loss continues a trend for Westview in their meetings with Beaverton: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Southridge's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Jesuit on Monday.
