Massanutten Military Academy had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They had to suffer through a 36-7 loss at the hands of the Randolph-Macon Academy Yellow Jackets. The Colonels' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak dating back to last season.

Randolph-Macon Academy can attribute much of their success to Kay Perry, who posted 17 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Perry has scored at least a third of Randolph-Macon Academy's points.

Randolph-Macon Academy's win bumped their record up to 9-5.

Massanutten Military Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Randolph-Macon Academy, they will face off against Wakefield School at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Wakefield School will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Randolph-Macon Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
