Chinle hasn't had much luck against Monument Valley recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Chinle Wildcats' road trip will continue as they head out to face the Monument Valley Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. The last three games Chinle has played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Chinle wouldn't go down easily and took Ganado into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 17-25, 18-25, 25-23, 16-14.

Meanwhile, Monument Valley waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Fighting Scouts 3-0.

Monument Valley's not only won, but also showed off some consistency: keeping Window Rock between 17 and 18 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-17, 25-18.

Among those leading the charge was Kamron Seackuku, who had five digs and five aces. That's the most aces she has posted in her last 12 matchups.

Chinle's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Monument Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 24-8 record this season.
