Soccer Recap: C.H. Yoe Comes Up Short

C.H. Yoe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against the Salado Eagles, falling 10-0. While losing is never fun, C.H. Yoe can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 762nd, while Salado are ranked 119th).

C.H. Yoe's loss dropped their record down to 2-11-1. As for Salado, the win was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. C.H. Yoe will square off against rival La Grange on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Salado is set to challenge their familiar foe Rockdale at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
