Softball Recap: 13 Straight Home Wins for South Lenoir

There's no place like home for South Lenoir, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past the Southwest Onslow Stallions 11-1 on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their matchups with the Stallions: they've now won eight in a row.

South Lenoir pushed their record up to 8-4 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Southwest Onslow, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Lenoir will take on James Kenan at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
