Preview: Snyder vs. Liberty
Snyder is on a three-game streak of home losses, Liberty a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. The Snyder Tigers will take on the Liberty Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Snyder's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
Last Friday, Snyder was the victim of a tough 4-1 loss at the hands of Estacado. Snyder has struggled against Estacado recently, as their match on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Snyder's goal came courtesy of
Jose (Santos) Gomez, who's now up to two this season.
Meanwhile, Liberty fell victim to Andrews' stalwart defense on Tuesday and couldn't make it onto the board. They suffered a rough 4-0 loss at the hands of the Mustangs.
Snyder's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7-2. As for Liberty, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.
