Baseball Game Preview: Eastside Early College Panthers vs. Travis Rebels

For the second straight game, Eastside Early College will face off against Travis. Eastside Early College will square off against Travis at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Eastside Early College took a 11-run loss the last time they faced off against Travis, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Eastside Early College skirted past Travis 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Panthers have posted against the Rebels since April 9, 2016.

Aydan Aguilar and Andrew Aguilar did most of the damage at the plate: Aydan scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Andrew scored a run while going 2-for-3.

The victory made it two in a row for Eastside Early College and bumps their season record up to 4-6. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games. As for Travis, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-2.
