Latin posted their closest victory since March 31st on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Amundsen Vikings 2-1. The Romans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Vikings, too.

Latin had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-19, 26-24.

Latin's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Amundsen, their loss dropped their record down to 8-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Latin will head out to take on Northside at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Amundsen, they will venture away from home to face off against Payton College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
