Basketball Recap: Chaparral Skates Past CIVICA NV with Ease

The third road matchup was the charm for Chaparral, as they earned their first away win of the season. They blew past the CIVICA NV Wolves 50-1 on Tuesday. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 25-1.

Chaparral got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was R'Breial Hicks out in front who almost dropped a triple-double with 18 points, 11 boards, and nine steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Heaven Williams, who dropped a double-double with ten points and ten steals.

Chaparral was working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Chaparral's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for CIVICA NV, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Chaparral wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Bonanza on the 12th.
