After flying high against Central Dauphin East last Thursday, Central Dauphin came back down to earth. The Rams came up short against the Cumberland Valley Eagles on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Rams' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Central Dauphin was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Cumberland Valley work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-20, 25-19.

Hayden Ackley was a one-man wrecking crew For Cumberland Valley. as he had 34 digs and one assist. Those 34 digs gave Ackley a new career-high.

Central Dauphin's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Cumberland Valley, they pushed their record up to 11-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.
