Volleyball Recap: Streamwood Extends Winning Streak to Four

Streamwood had won three straight games and Heewon Yang did his part to make it four on Wednesday. The Sabres walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Elk Grove Grenadiers thanks in part to Yang, who had 11 digs and four assists. He has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last four times he's played.

While Streamwood won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 26-24.

Streamwood's win bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Elk Grove, they dropped their record down to 2-19 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

Coming up, Streamwood will face off against Elgin at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Elk Grove, they have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Evanston on the 26th.
