Volleyball Recap: Topeka Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Topeka posted their closest win since October 19, 2024 on Monday. They skirted past the Shawnee Mission North Bison 2-1. Winning may never get old, but the Trojans sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Topeka got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 20-25, 25-20.

The victory got Topeka back to even at 4-4. As for Shawnee Mission North, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.

Coincidentally, Topeka and Shawnee Mission North will both be playing Leavenworth the next time they take the court. The Trojans will head out to face the PIONEERS at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Bison will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
