After losing to Stafford the last time they met, Ashland decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Blue Jays walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Trojans on Saturday.

While Ashland won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-21.

Ashland's win bumped their record up to 5-12. As for Stafford, their defeat was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-10.

Ashland wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Western Plains on the 20th. As for Stafford, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Kinsley on the 20th.
