Baseball Recap: Bonny Eagle Takes a Loss

Bonny Eagle extended their losing streak to three on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 2-3 in the process. They came up short against the Sanford Spartans, falling 10-1. The match marked the Scots' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

As for Sanford, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1. With that victory, they brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

For Sanford's part, Drew Vessels was incredible, going 4-for-5 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one double. With that strong performance, Vessels is now averaging an impressive 1.2 stolen bases per game. Brady Adams also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
