The biggest upset of the week belonged to Sultana, who took down 580th ranked Sultana, 23-14.

Hesperia moved up to 564 from 609 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Mojave River. The Scorpions climbed the ranks as a result of beating the Sultans 23-14.

Apple Valley's dynamic duo of Justin Connors and Jesse Larkins proved tough for Serrano to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Connors threw for 196 yards and three touchdowns and Larkins had 121 yards receiving. Bryan Fuentes helped Apple Valley's passing attack out by catching five balls for 32 yards.

Brandon Burton made the biggest impact on defense this week as Oak Hills beat Burroughs. The 5-foot-6 senior pulled down two interceptions.

Michael Hawkins was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 160 yards on 24 carries as the Diamondbacks lost to the Diamondbacks. Ryan Scribner also contributed to the rushing game with five yards on the ground.

6-foot-0 quarterback Daniel Epperson of Serrano is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1733. He has also thrown 24 touchdowns. On the ground, Apple Valley's Tyler Murphy has rushed for 1467 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Christopher Crummel. The Hesperia star has 48 catches for 740 yards.

De Zhontaey flecher of the the Bulldogs is only 75 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. Flecher has rushed for 925 yards on 108 carries so far this year.

Ray Maholchic's team extended the longest winning streak in Mojave River this week by beating Frank Pulice's team, 35-22. The win marks 10th in a row for the the Diamondbacks.
