Softball Recap: Northport Takes a Loss

Northport fell victim to Smithtown East and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Bulls, falling 10-0. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulls earlier this season, when they won 17-5.

This is the second loss in a row for Northport and nudges their season record down to 13-4. As for Smithtown East, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

While Northport had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
