The Shenandoah Valley Blue Devils will head out on the road to face off against the Nativity BVM Green Wave at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Shenandoah Valley hadn't beaten Minersville on the road since April 2, 2023 but that history sure didn't bother them on Thursday. The Blue Devils blew past the Battlin' Miners 8-2. The result was nothing new for the Blue Devils, who have now won ten contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Brayden Maksimik spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on three hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.
