Oxford barely beat Kennedy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wolverines put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 3-0 victory on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Wolverines have posted against the Eagles since September 26, 2017.

While Oxford might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Kennedy scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-18, 25-23.

Hailee Fredericks paced Oxford's offense, picking up nine kills. Fredericks got some help from Tessa Hatch and her 21 assists. Fredericks was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Oxford now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Kennedy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Oxford will square off against rival Crosby at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Kennedy is set to face off against their familiar foe Ansonia at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
