Volleyball Game Preview: Palmetto Ridge Bears vs. Charlotte Fightin' Tarpons + How To Watch

The Palmetto Ridge Bears will challenge the Charlotte Fightin' Tarpons at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Palmetto Ridge is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They blew past Ida Baker 3-0. Winning may never get old, but the Bears sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

The victory didn't come easy: Ida Baker scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-22, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Charlotte got the win against Gateway on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Charlotte took every set by at least 15 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-10, 25-9.

Charlotte's win bumped their record up to 23-3. As for Palmetto Ridge, their victory bumped their record up to 13-15.

Palmetto Ridge couldn't quite get it done against Charlotte in their previous matchup back in September of 2021 as they fell 2-0. Can the Bears avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
