Pe Ell had won 20 straight games and Maisy King did her part to make it 21 on Saturday. The Pe Ell Trojans came out on top against the Taholah Chitwhins by a score of 50-38 for which the team can thank King, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 17 rebounds. She has been hot, having posted ten or more boards the last six times she's played.

Brookelynn King was another key player, putting up seven points. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played.

Pe Ell pushed their record up to 21-0 with the win, which was their tenth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 33.3 points. As for Taholah, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-6.

Looking ahead, Pe Ell will square off against Waterville at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Pe Ell's defense has only allowed 22.4 points per game this season, so Waterville's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Taholah, they have already played their next match, a 58-35 victory against Evergreen Lutheran on the 25th.
