Centerburg came tearing into Tuesday's contest with seven straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Fredericktown Freddies. This was a revenge game for the Trojans: when they faced off against the Freddies back in September, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

While Centerburg won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-14, 25-22.

Centerburg can attribute much of their success to Molly Kain, who had 17 digs and one assist. That's the most digs Kain has posted over her last six matchups.

Centerburg's victory bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Fredericktown, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-10.

Coming up, Centerburg will square off against River Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fredericktown, they will challenge Pleasant at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
