Burroughs is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They walked away with a 17-7 win over Sultana on Friday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Burros as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Hesperia's offense. They took a 14-0 bruising from Apple Valley on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 35 points in the game before, the Scorpions' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Burroughs picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-4. As for Hesperia, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.

Burroughs was dealt a bruising 37-3 loss at the hands of Hesperia when the teams last played back in October of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Scorpions' Zamar Malveaux, who rushed for 136 yards and three TDs on only eight carries.
