Volleyball Recap: Flintridge Sacred Heart Takes a Loss

Flintridge Sacred Heart extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping them down to 17-17. They came up short against the Marlborough Mustangs, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-0 defeat back in September.

Alexandra Adomitis paced Flintridge Sacred Heart's offense, picking up seven kills. Adomitis got some help from Chloe Tran and her 13 assists. Grace Savarese controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

As for Marlborough, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-13 record this season. They not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since September 24th (when they won 3-0).

Tatawan Vongfak went supernova, getting 16 digs and four aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in August.

Flintridge Sacred Heart wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Immaculate Heart on the 7th. As for Marlborough, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Louisville on the 7th.
