Basketball Game Preview: Tennessee Preparatory Academy Diplomat Lions vs. Memphis University School Owls

Last Friday, Tennessee Preparatory Academy ended up a good deal behind Fayette Ware and lost 69-50. The Diplomat Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Memphis University School). They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging an 85-42 win over St. Benedict at Auburndale. Given the Owls' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 64th, while the Eagles are ranked 346th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory was the third in a row for Memphis University School, bringing their record for this year to 11-7. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.7 points per game. As for Tennessee Preparatory Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.
