Baseball Recap: Valdosta Comes Up Short

Valdosta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 13-3 to the Colquitt County Packers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Wildcats have suffered since March 7th.

Valdosta's loss dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Colquitt County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-10.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Valdosta Wildcats challenge Buchholz Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Buchholz will roll in looking for their 19th straight win, something Valdosta surely won't give up without a fight. As for Colquitt County, they will challenge Bartram Trail at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
