Softball Recap: Madison Takes a Loss

Madison was the 4-1 winner over Eastern when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Cubs fell 7-4 to the Musketeers on Thursday.

Madison's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Eastern, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season.

Madison is taking a road trip to square off against East Central at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Cubs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Eastern, they will welcome Lanesville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
