Basketball Recap: Hebron Picks Up Fifth Straight Win on the Road

Hebron's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 73-56 win over the West Central Trojans. The Hawks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Trojans, too.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hebron to victory, but perhaps none more so than Spencer Wynsma, who posted 28 points along with eight boards and three steals. The matchup was Wynsma's ninth in a row with at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Peter Socci, who went 7-for-9 en route to 22 points.

Several Trojans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Christian Hughes, who went 10-for-13 to rack up 22 points and five rebounds. That's the most points Hughes has posted since back in December of 2024. Brady Bishop was another key player, going 7-for-15 on his way to 17 points and five boards.

Hebron pushed their record up to 12-7 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.2 points over those games. As for West Central, their record is now 12-7.

Looking ahead, Hebron will take on Boone Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hebron is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.3 points per game this season. As for West Central, they have already played their next game, a 53-37 win against DeMotte Christian on the 18th.
