Basketball Recap: Maclay Comes Up Short

Maclay was the 47-10 winner over Altha when they last played one another back in January of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Marauders lost 34-11 to the Wildcats on Friday. The matchup marked the Marauders' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Maclay and nudges their season record down to 6-13. As for Altha, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Maclay will challenge North Florida Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Altha, they will face off against Sneads at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
