Softball Recap: Windermere Comes Up Short

Windermere lost against Eustis back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wolverines fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 6-5. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tessa Olofson was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.

Windermere's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Eustis, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Windermere will face off against Lake Buena Vista at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Wolverines' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Vipers have averaged an impressive 10.4 runs per game this season. As for Eustis, they will take on South Sumter at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
