Lake Oconee Academy had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They came out on top against the Westminster Christian Academy Lions by a score of 2-0. The Titans were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Lions, so the Titans were just returning the favor.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Lake Oconee Academy took both sets by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-12.

Lake Oconee Academy's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Westminster Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.

Coincidentally, Lake Oconee Academy and Westminster Christian Academy will both be playing Greene County the next time they take the court. The Lions will head out to face the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Titans will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
