Baseball Recap: Anderson County Comes Up Short

Anderson County managed to slip by Burlington the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Anderson County came up short against Burlington on Tuesday, falling 8-0. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Anderson County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zach Schaffer, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Anderson County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Burlington, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

We've got a battle between Bulldogs coming up. As for Burlington, they will square off against Clay Center at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
