After losing to Gore the last time they met, Wewoka decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Tigers walked away with a 34-24 victory over the Pirates on Thursday.

Wewoka is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for Gore, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Wewoka will challenge Talihina at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Golden Tigers have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Gore, they will venture away from home to face off against Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
